A broken door interlock switch can make it tricky, if not impossible, to open and close the door. This safety interlock tells the machine when it is safe to allow the door to open and close. If your tumble dryer is refusing to start, or the door will not open or close, you may need to replace the door interlock. Once fitted in place you'll have a fully working dryer.
