Washing Machine Thermostat

The thermostat in your washing machine regulates the temperature of the water. If you have a faulty thermostat, it could mean that the water is not at  the correct temperature, and could result in the element being over-heated. Please could you confirm the conection type. The picture shows spade connectors but my Hotpoint WD860P has an enclosed connector (as per picture on Washing Machine Heater Box Assembly - Version 3) Thanks

One screw has fallen out, would this cause heat problems with the washer & dryer?

    Hi Karvinski Without actually seeing your washing machine, it is impossible to tell what is causing this problem. What I would advise is talking to your local washing machine specialist and they should be able to diagnose the problem for you. And that's where we come in!
