Hi, If this valve become faulty , would it have a buzzing noise and the dishwasher would stop ? and once one side was disconnected the dishwasher would work ok? 1 Answer

During water softening the flow from the wash pump may be diverted through the softener by this valve. When this occurs the wash flow may not spray the load.

Hi Rockape, this valve is for the regeneration of the resin container. The valves regenerate the container by flushing out water and then recharging.
