This will only lift the door by a few millimeters. Check the bottom of the door as the hinge socket may have broken from the door.
The door has dropped requiring it to be lifted in order for it to be closed' Any ideas? Washer?

Take the door off and check the hinge pin socket. It is not uncommon for the hinge socket to break up causing this and a new door may be the only option. If the door is damaged it may be possible to swap hinges over to make it open the other way to overcome this.
