Our main oven started tripping out the mains electricity when it was cold but now it does it when it's been on for a while e.g. Sunday roast. Once it cools it doesn't trip out for quite a while. Could this mean that the main oven thermal cut in isn't working? No problem with the top oven.

Check the heating element as this is the most likeliest part to cause the oven to trip.
Behind the control panel? Near the cooling fan at the back? Just wanting to know how much dismantling I need to do to get at it. Cooling fan stuck on all the time so guessing this is the issue. Thanks.

The cutouts are normally on the back of the appliance.
I cant find a thermal cut off switch just this cut in switch. i have tested it the way you explain how to test a cut off switch and it seems not to be working so would this cause the oven not to turn on?

I have no heat in bottom oven of Indesit KD6C35M, fan comes on but no heat , could it be the main oven thermal cut out switch is faulty 1 Answer
