the dishwasher makes a humming sound but no water enters the machine, where can i locate the float?

Hi reha, the float is located in the inlet system, usually just after the water heater. Check all inlet passageways and components for blockages. Sometimes bits of food or other rubbish can get stuck and stop the water from flowing in to the dishwasher.
