I have no spark whatsoever on my New World 55THLG cooker, model no. 444440157. The rocker switch and the 2 wires leading to the generator test out ok, so would it be reasonable to conclude that the fault lies with the spark generator? (Mains plug is ok).. 1 Answer
do i need to take the back off the cooker to replace the spark generator or should the old one pull out 1 Answer

I have a belling gas hob. Problem, a spark is generated to one of the burners every few seconds without turning the gas on. Is this a problem with the generator? 1 Answer

The problem is more likely to be caused by a spillage on that electrode or a faulty electrode. Try swapping one over before suspecting the generator.

Check the high voltage cables are not damaged to the electrode and try temporarily swapping over the electrode connections on the generator. If this transfers the no spark to another burner suspect the spark generator.
