Hob Control Knob Backing Plate
This is the bezel disc at the rear of the control knob which attaches to the thermostat. Stainless steel in appearance and has the number 0 to 6 printed on it.

Please could you tell me if this and a new knob can be fitted by me or do i need someone qualified? Mine has got heat damaged but still works ok, Thanks Belinda

Hi Belsy, this part simply clicks in to place once you've removed the knob and the original backing plate.
