  • I have had to replace these knobs on numerous occasions as they are not fit for purpose and just keep breaking I too would welcome them being made in metal. By David - UK - 06 June 2015

I can't regulate the heat of the oven, because the knob is not aligned with the spindle It is standing a little proud from the base of the spildle(more so than the second oven) I think I need a new contol knob, but would like some advice on it before ordering. Thank you.

It is likely to be the control not the knob that is faulty, the knob should just pull off so you could swap the knobs to prove it is not faulty.

  • sounds like its the switch itself rather than the nob. would suggest getting someone to look at it for safety reasons. By cr - - 04 April 2012

Hi there, because this is potentially a gas flow problem, I'd advise getting in touch with a Gas Safe registered engineer. I'm not qualified and wouldn't want you to have any accidents!

Answer this question

we found that althoughthe fan works when the grill is lit when the grill door is closed trhe fan goes off but the grill stays on, when the door is closed We have never been used to this type of cookerbefore consequently some of the knobs were melted hence we are ordering more. We also left some plates which also cracked. This seems as it could be quite dangerous, is this the norm with this type of cooker
