Automatic ignition of one of gas rings is not working. No spark is occurring. I can light the ring manually. Is this the part I need to replace. All other rings are sparking and lighting properly

We believe that it is likely to be the spark plug, look for any signs of damage as it may have cracked.

Just removing the covers and replacing the electrode without disturbing gas pipes is a relative simple repair that could be carried out by most people.
Can you please tell me what the dimensions are of this item as I need to use this on the center hob. The current spark plug is approximately: exposed length 2.5cm and the total length 4.0cm
