Dishwasher Alternate Washing Valve
If you are in need of a new alternate washing valve, you have come to the right place! This replacement part is used to control the flow of water between the upper and lower spray arms and can also be used on some models to stop the flow of water to the upper spray arm on models equipped with a half load feature.

At the start of the wash cycle my machine alarms and displays a code of e8, what do you think could cause this
- we had a code e8 and replaced the alternate valve. That was two weeks ago and no problems since then and the dishwasher has been used almost daily.
- Dishwasher starts but goes to error E8 within 30secs. Valve not responding no water in upper spray unit.
Hi - I've just bought a new alternate valve from yourselves for the Smeg DWF614SS dishwasher. Seems like the valve is right in the middle underneath. Hard to see, let alone change. Can you give any guidance as to the best way to get at it?
