Answer this question

I replaced the double grill element which I thought was faulty. if I turn the top oven on the element heats up and the oven and indicator lamps illuminate. However, if I turn the grill on the element does not heat up (for 50% or full) and the oven and indicator lamps do not illuminate. What might be wrong?

Answer this question

I have a Creda Concept C460EG, and earlier this year had successfully fitted a couple of your single hob energy regulators (ES1562517). The dual grill regulator has now gone, but you say this part is not compatible. Do you have anything that is?

Half of the grill becomes red/hot when the cooker wall isolation switch is switched on but the grill control is off. Is a replacement Energy Regulator a good place to start?

It is likely to be the control not the knob that is faulty, the knob should just pull off so you could swap the knobs to prove it is not faulty.

Hi there. I'd check all connections all the way from the grill knob to the connections on the element. There may be something loose or blown on there. Make sure your cooker's switched off at the wall before you get to work, and best of luck.
