Washing Machine Display PCB Stock Number: ES715149
Genuine spare part for select models of Hotpoint washing machines
Everything lights up correctly BUT it will not always switch on. I do not get any error codes. Sometimes if I disconnect from Mains and wait a few minutes it will work. Could this be the door catch or the pcb?

This display board does not need programming. The power module would require programming before it could work at all.
The display on the screen has been gradualy diaperaring and was very faint. The screen has now gone blank but the machine is still working. You just dont know what programe its doing. Is this just the case of replacing the PCB. ? 1 Answer

We believe it is likely to be the PCB as it comes complete with the display, this item would need to be programmed when replaced and for that reason, it would be more cost-effective to have a fixed price repair from Repaircare.
I've spent €€€'s on an engineer who couldn't fix my "Hotpoint WMG8237BS EU", could a new PCB be the answer? 1 Answer
The machine had only been used <50 times. I would be happy to buy a new PCB as long as there's a decent chance it'd fix it!

You cannot fit the PCB as it requires programming. To identify the cause of the problem see our diagnosis videos like: How to Diagnose Washing Machine Control and Program Problems: http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/7/1793

when the washing load is done it wont spin if you press the spin button to drain the water out it just makes a little beep and nothing happens so the washer is still full of water and i cant empty it only if i open the door and use a jug to get the water out so i think i need a new PCB so if i buy one of these it will work straight away

My machine screen just flashes when turned on. Has done this for ages and always washed fine eventually. Has now stopped responding to controls altogether and just flashes. I think its probably a new PCB job. Does this work straight out of the box as per the review or does it need programming as per the item description?

This particular part will work straight out of the box. However the problem is more likely to be the main module which would need to be programmed when replaced. For this reason it would be more cost effective to have a fixed price repair from Repaircare.
it has only happened twice, both times wher on the 24th jan. i put a full load on a normal 40 wash at ten past 1 and the wash was still going at ten to 4. it said it had 12 mins left, so i waited. it got down to 9 mins then jumped upto 32 mins. so i cancelled the cycle waited for it to drain and reset. as my stuff was soaking i put on a rince and spin which is 45 mins. it got down to 9 mins and jumped back up to 43 mins. ive had a man come out and look he said it was not worth repairing as i need a new board.please can you help me out as i love this machine

Hi louise, replacing the PCB isn't an unachievable task. Check this video out for help: http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/washing-machines/a/7/1298/how-to-replace-washing-machine-controls-hotpo.html. The washing machine in the video the exact same model as yours, but you'll find the process very similar.
Will this part fit my appliance?
