Answer this Question (1 Answer)
- Watch out for the insulation strips that keep the heater element from contacting the metal case. The domestic circuit breakers will pop / plug fuse will blow. These insulators are too small in their design. If the heater elements overheat then these may become brittle and the element may also sag allowing it to come into contact with the metal case. Ensure also that fluff is not allowed to build-up because there is a fire hazard if the element overheats & fluff is present. When installing a new heater element take the opportunity to ensure that you've thoroughly de-fluffed the machine.
