After charging the machine cuts out after a short period of use but after re-charging works o.k. 1 Answer
I have cleaned all the filters and taken the machine down to clean everything else completely.

It sounds like either a battery or charger issue, If the charger lights and puts a small charge in the battery the charger is probably OK and the battery is likely to be faulty.
my motor does not run and appears to be very stiff and measures high resistance when measured across input tags whisch mate with battery.
