Hello I have a S4088-8KG and need to replace the evaporator sensor. Is this probe the right spare part? In other words is there any difference between the air sensor probe and the evaporator probe, are they interchangeable? I know what I need to replace has a black coated wire, whereas the air sensor has a white coated wire.

The manufacturer's diagram indicates this sensor to be the fridge evaporator sensor. The fridge air sensor is Stock Number: ES1079865
The top part of my fridge is freezing when it shouldn't, and there's a square symbol where the temp should be displayed. I'm guessing the probe is the thermostat. Is that right?
