The fan will rotate clockwise to blow the air outwards around the oven.

Answer this question

Element on NEFF fan oven failed and replaced. Everything worked for a day but now fan doesn't turn. If 'helped' by turning manually it turns slowly so obviously powered up. Anything else I can try - odd that element and motor both(?) failed.

The fan spinning slowly is likely to have caused the element to overheat. Replacing will resolve the problem.

Answer this question

I cannot see the back of the switch but all other switch functions work. The oven lights do not work but bulbs tested ok.

Make sure to reset the timer as it will reset to 'Automatic' when the power is switched off and disable the oven from operating.

Answer this question

The element is heating up and oven light comes on, the fan however does not spin.

The fan is usually controlled by the switch so check the contacts for signs of burning or damage. Also check the terminal connectors where the cable comes in as these can have links that come loose and burn. Check for loose wires.

Answer this question

The lower oven fan sometimes does not start automatically. I find that if I use a small screwdriver and give the fan blades a flick the fan works OK. What causes the fan to occasionally refuse to start spinning without 'help' from a screwdriver? Does the fan need to be replaced?

Convection ovens generally use the grille and a bottom element. If one fails the oven will struggle to reach temperature.

Answer this question

I have no oven light, the oven does not do anything when turned on, no fan ,no heat. top grill works.Clock is on manual

On some ovens there is a thermal cut out that can 'trip' in the event overheating. check at the back of the cavity near the top for this and replace if it measures open circuit.
