all the settings on the fans still work but the buttons wont stay on is there any easy fix for this please 1 Answer

If you cannot identify and release the latching plate for the four buttons you will have to replace the complete switch unit.

Does this pcb come with the five round knobs attached as it doesn't show in picture. Can't seem to remove knobs from old pcb. 1 Answer

The knobs are not supplied with this part. Soak the knobs in hot water to release them.
The PCB failed five years ago and was replaced. The fan has failed again and the PCB appears to be fine (last time the PCB had burn marks on it). How can I tell if the PCB has failed again or if it's the fan that has failed ?

Check the fan motor with a meter and that it spins freely. If this is OK then it is reasonable to assume the fault is with the board. If no signs of damage can be found on the board it is not possible for the average person to prove faulty without replacing it.
- I think that if it came with a tail then it'd be a large sub-assembly with the hood lights and enclosure as well. Looking at the lights and the PCB I think you need to warm up your soldering iron. I think it'd also cost an arm and leg more than it already does.

Hi Alan, this PCB fits several different cooker hoods; some models have four push buttons which connect to it, some models have five push buttons which connect to it. I can confirm that if your cooker hood has five push buttons, and the model number is listed in the 'Fits the following appliances' section, this PCB will fit your hood.
