Washing Machine Heater Element - 230V 2050W Stock Number: ES1551983
High quality spare part for select models of Bosch, Neff and Siemens washing machines
Water was not being heated. Replaced open circuit heating element with new one but still not heating up. Measured NTC temperature sensor resistance of 7K ohms at 20 degrees. Please can you tell me if this is faulty. 1 Answer

If the NTC changes it's resistance reading when at different temperatures is OK, you will need to test the rest of the heater circuit with a multimeter.
I think the element has gone on my Bosch washing machine, it started to smell and then something went pop and the trip went. What resistance should should the heating element be? 1 Answer

My bosch washer gets stuck on 1 minute and doesn't finish it's rinse. Most q&a sites say it's the heater element. Is it worth getting a thermostat too as it looks like a ball ache to strip down to replace if not the element. Thanks in advan 1 Answer

You will need to test the heater and thermostat with a multimeter to determine what has failed, we have a video to help www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ftm8lDVVw2E just copy and paste into your browser.
Hi on a Bosch washer WAE24162 the rinse water is hot, can here the heater element heating the water, would this mean the thermastat needs replacing,it is definitely plumbed in correctly this has been going on for the last month,

The heating phase is controlled by the PCB and not the thermostat, the thermostat will normally turn the heat off when reached the correct temp on a heating program and not on a rinse.
On my Bosch Classix 6 Vario Perfect WAE24167 UK/40 , when the element is replaced do I have to reset error codes?

We don't believe you have to reset the error code stored.
Hi, I'm replacing a heater element but the part you have sent i am having trouble fitting. The plastic seal seems to be a slightly larger size/shape and will not fit properly?Your stock number isES1551983 any ideas ? 1 Answer

Loosen the clamp nut and lubricate the seal with a smear of washing up liquid to help fitting.
Our washing machine runs on a never-ending cycle if set on anything from 30°C or above, although the timer display counts down. If we add hot water, then the cycle completes. If we use a cold wash, the cycle is the usual length for a cold wash. Would I be right in concluding that the element is faulty?

It is likely to be the heater as it sounds like it is not heating.
The 2 heaters are different lengths. Without removing the heater how do I know which is the correct one. Machine model WFL2462GB/12 Your part numbers… ES1551983 & ES486173

ES486173 is the correct heater for your machine.
I have fitted the element to my Bosch WAE24363GB/05 but the machine still runs on a never ending wash cycle. NB It works perfectly on Refresh and Rinse. 1 Answer

It is likely that your control board may have failed but it may only be possible to prove by replacing it.
Will this part fit my appliance?
