I have frigidair gas cooker with no inside the oven .. dose it fit inside the the oven to produce circulated heat 2 Answers
- This unit works on temperature difference, contact with the stove and with cooler air, therefore it will not work in an oven where there is no temperature gradient.

It is designed to fit on the top of the stove on a smooth flat surface on your stovetop near the side or back of the stove where cooler air can be drawn from behind and over the cooling fins.
I have a coalagas fire and all the heat seems to go to the chimney back and not into the room, it is a period fire grate and has a wide flat ledge either side and I thought maybe I could stand it on there. 1 Answer

It is designed to fit on the top of the stove on a smooth flat surface, it is not designed for a gas fire.

This should be suitable for a coal burner stove as this unit works from the conduction of the heat from the stove. The fan has a small chrome wire handle that should allow it to be lifted off safely even if hot.
My stove is an insert which is about 4 inches out from the wall. would the fan sit on that space. Thanks

As long as space you are sitting the fan on matches the dimensions listed in our product description, it should fit.

No, as it is designed to operate on a stove burner.

This fan is meant to stand on the top of a cast iron wood burner where the surface gets too hot to touch as this heat actually is used to produce electricity. The fan has a small chrome wire handle that should allow it to be lifted off safely even if hot.
I have an inset log burner into an existing fireplace. I understand that you can fit a support plate to the stove to sit the fan on. Could you confirm please. Steve Harmon 1 Answer

We have no information on this. It makes sense that if you use a piece of thick metal resting on the top the heat would conduct along the metal into the fan and power the motor.
