The problem is not likely to be the pump motor unless there is signs of damage. Disconnect the power and pour a couple of litres of water into the drum and check for leaks with the back off.

This pump may be suitable but you may have to replace the connectors. An original Bosch replacement is ES1744009.

Check you have not disturbed any connections on the lock or pump and if still faulty check the new part for continuity. For information to diagnose your problem see our video: How to Diagnose Washing Machine Control and Program Problems www.espares.co.uk/advice/7/1793

This pump is not a twist off type as shown in the earlier video. We have now attached a video this is more similar to this pump.
I have a Haus washing machine. I suspect my pump is dead as all the hoses seem to be clear. The back of my current pump has male spades poking out of the motor but I can't see them on the image of the pump you have on your site

On the second image of the part you can see the plastic moulded 'shrouds' for the male spade type connectors.
Hi, I have a Bosch Maxx 5 washing machine part no. WAA24270GB/24. Really rattly when draining and slow to drain. Can you please confirm compatibility with my machine? 1 Answer
Hi, I have a Bosch Maxx 5 washing machine part no. WAA24270GB/24. Really rattly when draining and slow to drain. I presumed it was the drain pump and looked at your video re removal in case a clean might do the trick. Having released the pump when it came away the section with the drain blades remained inside the pump housing! I refitted and then tried to release the filter opening on the housing to see if there were any obstructions but this was so stiff I didn't want to force it. If you can confirm that this part is compatible with my machine do you have any tips for my scenario where the old part hasn't come away in one piece cleanly? Also, any tips on removing the file appreciated too. Many thanks. For info, machine still works in the same way now after refitting.

This pump is not suitable for your machine you require Stock Number: ES1280143. The likely reason why the filter is stuck and the pump is noisy is from debris blocking the pumps entrance. Totally disconnect the pump from the machine to shake the debris out from the hose connections before suspecting a problem with the pump.
The machine is a Princess EWM 3580ENG I cannot find any reference to this machine so presume it one made under licence locally here in Cyprus

We do not have details of the pump fitted to your machine. If you search for 'washing machine pump' our system lists all related parts. It may take a while but you are likely to be able to identify a suitable replacement from our images.
this model does not appear to have the same type of electrical fitting. The pump I have just removed is a Askoll Mod.M221? 1 Answer

If the pump physically fits it can be a suitable replacement but may require the motor connections to be replaced. The connections are standard 'spade' type terminals available from motor accessory suppliers. It may be possible to slice open the original connector to access these connectors.
