Check your drum as we believe it is a 'welded drum' like Stock Number: ES865090. This does not have the row of bolts to allow the replacement of the bearings and requires a new drum complete.

Answer this question

HAVE JUST PURCHASED BEARINGS AND DRUM SEAL OF YOU BUT THE FRONT PANEL SEEMS TO BE SPOT WELDED. HOW DO I REMOVE THIS TO GET TO THE DRUM?

On some later Hotpoint machines the cabinet is welded and the drum would have to be lifted out from the top of the cabinet or the machine placed on its side and the drum slid out. Remove any weights and motor before trying to lift out and lift with another person if possible.

Answer this question

I need parts to replace drum bearings on a hotpoint wmd962 ultima do you supply these

The bearings on your model may not be replaceable acording to the information we have as the drum used is glued together and cannot be separated see Stock Number: ES1128371. Check the joint between the front and rear parts of the tub, If there are not screws holding theses together every 100 to 150 mm then the whole drum will have to be replaced.

Answer this question

can you please advise if in your opinion I need new bearings or just a replacement rubber door seal. I have a hotpoint wm63 washing machine that when spinning has started making a loud rumbling sound. It doesn't make the noise when empty however when I pulled the machine out to look inside I have found that the doorseal is perished - would this be the cause. any help gratefully received.

Hi Kezo, as the suffix refers only to the colour of the washing machine, I can assure you this kit is the one you're after: http://www.espares.co.uk/part/washing-machines/indesit/p/1085/805/0/0/1016831/washing-machine-30mm-bear.html
