Will this work on a New World 70TC with rounded corners without drilling. It appears to be a less than documented approach. Will it just click into the channel where the current seal lives.
- I'm not sure about fitting this cooker but mine is 22years old and you get a really good length in fact it did my oven and grill and still had some left over! Hope this helps
The panel seems to be secured at the top but not at the bottom where there is a clear gap. It looks as though it was initiall "glued" to the door. Can anyone help? Thanks Les
- Have you checked to see of there is/should be a door seal/gasket that may be missing. I would be very surprised if the glass panel was supposed to be 'glued in'.
The rubber keeps slipping off the clip on the bottom left hand side of the oven where it joins 1 Answer
The rubber is one continous length that joins a clip on the bottom left hand side of the oven. It doesnt seem to be glued but slowly recoils towarsd the right and slips off the clip. Can you please tell me what to do?

Hi Ash. I presume as you describe 'one continuous length' that you're describing your existing door seal - a different door seal to this one. It sounds as if the seal has lost some of its elastic qualities, and it sounds as if it'll need to be replaced. To find out whether we have a genuine replacement for your door seal, search your cooker's model number in the bar at the top of the page. If not, this seal, or its three sided counterpart may well be suitable replacements.

The backing plate that the door hinges are attached via screws has slipped - I can't remount the door as there is nothing to hold the screws in place. Any suggestions? 1 Answer
I took the door off to replace the door catch not realising that there was a threaded plate behind the outer skin of the oven frame. This has now slipped.

Hello Novice. I think you may need to take your oven out of it's housing to remove the front panel and retrieve the backing plate. Check out this video: http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/cookers-and-hobs/a/1/1332/how-to-replace-a-grill-element-in-an-electric.html It doesn't actually show how to retrieve the backing plate, but it does give you an idea of how the oven can be removed, so hopefully it'll help you. I know many of these ovens use the same seals - does any one know what is the equivalent for the britannia oven?

The seal has gone on my top oven, and I cannot see why, unless the two ends are just glued together ... do you have a spare part which will work in this oven?
- Not advisable to use glue on oven seals as they get very hot. Replace it all with the Universal 3 or 4 sided door seal kit.it will be as new,and should last for years.
I bought this product in May 09 having been directed to it in my search on your website for new seals for this model of oven. Those being replaced had rounded corners so I had to cut the new seals with mitred corners to make them rectangular. My wife finds that neither the top nor bottom doors close very tightly with the new seals fitted, resulting in the oven exterior getting very hot around the door edges and also the cooking times have been affected with unpredictable results.

My Diplomat fan oven model is ADP4510. The seal has rounded corners . Do you have a suitable replacement? 1 Answer
Hot air escapes from 3 holes at the front of the (top)fan oven but the seals seem OK. Any idea what the problem might be? I'd like to try replacing the seals first though! Thanks

The model is white has an emblemQ/A on it and a code number APM3120
- Have just fitted new door seals to our 18yr old Zanussi. The rubber seal came with four Metal Corner Inserts which after cutting the seal to the instructed length are inserted into the new seal. The same inserts have a tang on the back which locate into a hole at each corner. Easy as falling off a log!!
