Hi, this can fit on either the door or oven proper, wherever your model's seal in placed.
The seal around my Tecnik oven (model 195/3) is just stretched into place and not held with clips. Would I be able to glue this universal seal on instead?? Thankyou for your advice

if not what kind of glue do i need to fit this? because in the model we have (EKC6049x) the metal clips on the seal are glued to it. thanks

Hi Punkchef I think user Dadio34 answers this one best so I'll quote him on this: 'You need to cut and angle rubber to size. If clips don't fit corners then you need to drill your cooker. Simple job just take time to measure out.'

Should the seal drop in the middle when the oven gets heated?
- If your seal drops you could have not cut length short enough so there is not enough tension hence the heat will cause the rubber seal to expand and sag
This oven door seal has slightly rounded off corners and the seal doesn't meet at the bottom. There are also two side seals on the outer edges of the cooker casing. Including these two side seals the length of seal required appears to be approx 2.5m. There are four corner clips and six end clips required too.
- The corners are the same as mine the clips will not fit so i drilled my cooker in corners to allow clips to fit
- You will likely have to drill your cooker to accept the clips a good guide comes with pack
Will this fit a Stoves EC500DOa electic cooker. Already had the wrong part delivered elsewhere. Your help please. The seal is for the 500mm model.

Hi Stud This door seal is universal; it will work with any domestic oven. It is simple to fit, you just cut the seal down to size and fit in to the door using the clips provided. Easy peasy!
